About the Role

Zelescope is seeking a talented Shopify Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in customizing and optimizing Shopify stores, creating themes, and developing apps to enhance our e-commerce capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Customize and maintain Shopify stores to meet our specific business needs
• Develop and modify Shopify themes using Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Create custom Shopify apps to extend store functionality
• Integrate third-party services and APIs with our Shopify stores
• Implement and maintain payment gateways and shipping solutions
• Optimize store performance for speed and conversion rates
• Ensure mobile responsiveness and cross-browser compatibility
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to our Shopify stores
• Stay up-to-date with Shopify platform updates and best practices

Requirements

• Proven experience in Shopify development and customization
• Strong proficiency in Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Experience with responsive design and cross-browser compatibility
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git)
• Knowledge of e-commerce best practices and trends
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Shopify app development
• Familiarity with Shopify CLI and Theme Kit
• Knowledge of SEO principles and their implementation in Shopify
• Experience with GraphQL and Shopify’s Storefront API
• Understanding of user experience (UX) design principles
• Familiarity with popular Shopify apps and integrations
